Sääretüki lighthouse

Rannaküla is a village ( Estonian küla ) on the largest Estonian island of Saaremaa . It belongs to the rural community Saaremaa (until 2017: rural community Pihtla ) in the Saare district . Rannaküla is not to be confused with Kirderanna , Laevaranna and Vaigu-Rannaküla , which are also on the island of Saaremaa and were called Rannaküla until 2017.

The village has five residents (as of December 31, 2011). It is located on a headland on the east coast of Sutu Bay ( Sutu laht ).

To the south of the village, the Sääretükk headland protrudes into the Baltic Sea . The rectangular, white lighthouse was built in 1954. He is fifteen meters high.
