Olympic games
- March 16 : The Austrian Olympic Committee is founded.
- April 27 to October 31 : The Games of the IV Olympiad will take place in London , including competitions in figure skating.
- April 27 to June 21 : The "Spring Games" of the Olympic Games are held. There will be competitions in rackets (April 27th), indoor tennis (May 6th to 14th), Jeu de Paume (May 18th to 28th) and polo (June 18th and 21st).
- July 6th to 25th : The so-called "Summer Games" of the Olympic Games are held, in which around 2/3 of the total competitions are held.
