Cesse is a French commune with 114 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Verdun , the canton of Stenay and the community association Pays de Stenay et Val Dunois, founded in 2016 .
geography
Cesse is about 50 kilometers north-northwest of Verdun . Cesse is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Luzy-Saint-Martin in the north, Martincourt-sur-Meuse in the northeast, Stenay in the east and southeast and Laneuville-sur-Meuse in the south and west.
