Épinonville is a French commune with 72 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (before 2016: Lorraine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Verdun , the canton Clermont-en-Argonne (until 2015: canton Montfaucon-d'Argonne ) and the municipality association Argonne-Meuse . The inhabitants are called Épinonvillois .

geography

Épinonville is located about 27 kilometers northwest of Verdun . Épinonville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cierges-sous-Montfaucon in the north, Nantillois in the north-east, Montfaucon-d'Argonne in the east, Véry in the south, Charpentry in the south-west, Baulny in the west and south-west and Exermont in the west and north-west.
