Nomborn is a municipality in the Westerwaldkreis in Rhineland-Palatinate . It belongs to the Montabaur community .

The community is located in the Westerwald between Montabaur and Limburg an der Lahn on the edge of the Nassau Nature Park . The Eisenbach flows through the village . The Kautenmühle, Studentenmühle and Marienhof residential areas also belong to Nomborn .

	Justification for the coat of arms: The coat of arms stylizes the St. Kilian church in the upper part. The hexagons, seven in number, symbolize the basalt columns that occur in the area of the local mountain Bornkasten. In the lower part of the coat of arms, the earlier drinking water supply is symbolized as a well. The sloping strip represents the Eisenbach flowing through the municipality.

Nomborn is connected to local public transport by the regional bus route 450 ( Montabaur - Nomborn - Nentershausen - Diez - Limburg) operated by the Rhein-Mosel-Bus company . The tariff of the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Mosel (VRM) has also applied in the Westerwaldkreis since January 1, 2017 .
