Arnshöfen is a municipality in the Westerwaldkreis in Rhineland-Palatinate . It belongs to the Wallmerod Association .
geography
Arnshöfen is located in the Westerwald between Hachenburg in the north, Westerburg in the east-northeast, Montabaur in the south and Selters in the west. The Kleine Saynbach flows through the village . It is located a little south-southeast of the Westerwald lakes plateau.
On the 1.5 km north-north-west of the village Helleberg ( 491 m above sea level ) has been a lookout tower since 1998 .
The districts of the municipality are: Arnshöfen, Etzelbach and Niederarnshöfen (Niederdorf).

The council in Arnshöfen consists of six council members, who in the local elections on May 26, 2019 in a majority vote were elected, and the volunteer local mayor as chairman.

Michaela Hehl became mayor of Arnshöfen on July 18, 2019. In the direct election on May 26, 2019, she was elected for five years with a share of 64.58% of the vote.
Hehl's predecessor Heribert Metternich had held the office for 25 years.

The federal road 8 , which connects Altenkirchen (Westerwald) and Limburg an der Lahn , runs directly through the village . The next motorway junction is Montabaur on the federal motorway 3 (Cologne – Frankfurt am Main), about 12 kilometers away. The closest ICE stop is Montabaur train station on the Cologne – Rhein / Main high-speed line .
