Kirchweihfest (fair)
Every year on the third weekend in July the traditional Sessenhausen fair takes place. This event made Sessenhausen known in recent years in the Westerwald and beyond. On Friday evening alone, over 1000 visitors flock to the festival area around the Church of St. Josef every year. It is organized by the six local associations and the fair society. Traditions such as tree-planting, the festival service and a program for all generations make it one of the last of its kind in the circle.
