The list of windmills in North Rhine-Westphalia gives a comprehensive overview of the windmills of different conservation status in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia . On the Lower Rhine there are mainly round, conical stone windmills as Erdholländermühlen or Wallholländermühlen.
