The rural residential community of Krümmel is located 2 km west of Selters in a forest and meadow area.

Municipal council

The council in crumbs consists of eight council members, who in the local elections on May 26, 2019 in a majority vote were elected, and the honorary mayor as chairman.

Burkhard Kuhn became local mayor of Krümmel on July 17, 2014. In the direct election on May 26, 2019, he was confirmed in office for another five years with 87.42 percent of the votes cast.

Kuhn's predecessors were Reiner Schmidt (term of office 2004–2014) and Karl-Heinz Dasbach (1984–2014).
