th Both the Brazilian Football Association and FIFA recognize this game as an official international match.
The Bulgarian Football Association recognizes this game as an official international match, but it is not recognized by FIFA.
th The Czech Football Association, as the legal successor to the Bohemian-Moravian and Czechoslovak Football Association, recognizes this game as an official international match; it is not recognized by FIFA.
th Contrary to its own regulation ( see FIFA regulations on international matches ) that all football games played within the framework of the Olympic Games from 1908 to 1956 are to be recognized as official A-internationals without exception, FIFA has not recognized this game as an official A-internationals.
th In its official statistics for the Olympic Games from 1952 to 1964, the IOC lists an all-German team ( French: Équipe Unifiée d'Allemagne) for all sports , although there was in fact no all-German national soccer team during the division of Germany. In the Summer Olympics in 1952 and 1956, soccer players in the GDR were forbidden by the local NOK to participate, so that the all-German team consisted exclusively of West German soccer players. At the Summer Olympics in 1960 and 1964, since the NOC of the GDR continued to forbid East German football players to play with West German football players, qualifying games were held in advance, in which the FRG prevailed in 1960 and the GDR in 1964.
The Finnish Football Association recognizes this game as an official international match, but it is not recognized by FIFA.
International games played as part of the Olympic Games after 1956 are generally not recognized by FIFA as A international games.
Some statistics indicate Mar del Plata as the venue.
