- October 27 : World premiere of the operetta Thousand and One Nights at the Vienna Volksoper . The work is a revision of the operetta Indigo and the 40 robbers by Johann Strauss (son), who died in 1899 . Ernst Reiterer carried out the revision .
- November 2nd : The world premiere of the operetta The Dollar Princess by Leo Fall takes place at the Carltheater in Vienna. The libretto of the piece, which belongs to the silver operetta era, comes from the team of authors Alfred Maria Willner and Fritz Grünbaum .
