The systematics of flowering plants given here is used as a reference in Wikipedia ; this applies in particular to entries in taxoboxes .

The systematics of the bed covers presented here follows the systematics of the Angiosperm Phylogeny Group IV . The German designation of the supraordinal groups follows the 36th edition of the Strasburger textbook of botany .

Scientific names

According to the International Code of Botanical Nomenclature , the scientific names have endings that are indicative of the rank of the corresponding taxa. The names of the families end with “-aceae”, those of the orders with “-ales” and the classes with “-opsida”.

Class of the cloudy ones

According to Strasburger, the Bedecktsamer are currently listed as a class . In the list, the taxa are listed in alphabetical order.

Basal orders

The basal orders were previously summarized as Einfurchenpollen-dicotyledonous , but are not a monophyletic group. Therefore they are loosely summarized as 'basic orders'. The Archaefructaceae family, known only in fossil form, is usually added to the basal orders .
