The West Indian Federation appeared only once at the Summer Olympics. The team, an association of athletes from the British colonies of Trinidad and Tobago , Jamaica , Barbados and the British Isles below and above the wind, took part in the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome and won two bronze medals. A total of 13 athletes, all men, drove to Rome and participated in five sports.
