Belarus (Belarus) has been represented at the Summer Olympics and Winter Olympics since 1994.
The National Olympic Committee was established in 1991 and recognized by the IOC in 1993 . Before 1994, athletes from what is now Belarus took part under the flag of the Soviet Union or the United Team .
Belarus has not hosted any Olympic Games to date (as of 2018).
General
Belarus first took part in the 1994 Winter Olympics with a delegation of 33 athletes and won two medals. Fifteen medals were won when she first participated in the 1996 Summer Olympics .
The largest delegation to date was sent to the 2008 Summer Olympics with 181 athletes.
