So far there have been no medal winners.

General overview

Summer games

Dominica's first Olympic team consisted of five athletes and one swimmer in Atlanta in 1996. The island nation's first Olympian was swimmer Woody Lawrence, who competed in the 50 meter freestyle on July 25, 1996. Dominica's first women at the Olympic Games were the athletes Hermin Joseph and Dawn Williams a day later. Dominican athletes were subsequently unsuccessful.

Winter games

Dominica took part in the Sochi 2014 Games with a cross-country skier. Originally two athletes were nominated. The two participants, the married couple Gary and Angelica di Silvestri, were among the oldest participants in Sochi, aged 47 and 48 respectively. Both were US citizens. Allegedly, they were offered Dominican citizenship because of their charitable work on the island nation. They then founded the National Ski Association of Dominica . Later research revealed that Gary di Silvestri had made false statements about his athletic past as an alleged wrestler and rower. Angelica di Silvestri was unable to take part in her competition due to a training accident.

Youth games

Dominica has participated in the two youth summer games held so far. In 2010 there were three athletes, a boy and two girls, and in 2014 there were two athletes, a boy and a girl. Dominica did not take part in the youth winter games.
