The Ukraine is at 1994 Summer Olympics and Winter Olympics represented.
The National Olympic Committee is the Nazionalnyj olimpijskyj komitet Ukrajiny . It was founded in 1990 and recognized by the IOC in 1993 .
Before 1994, athletes from what is now Ukraine took part under the flag of the Soviet Union or the United Team .
Ukraine has not hosted any Olympic Games to date (as of 2018).
General
Ukraine first took part in the 1994 Winter Olympics with a delegation of 37 athletes and won two medals. When she first took part in the Summer Olympics in 1996 , 23 medals were won, including nine gold, which meant 9th place in the medal table.
The largest delegation to date was sent to the 2008 Summer Olympics with 243 athletes.
