Rancourt is a commune in the French department of Vosges in the region of Grand Est (before 2016: Lorraine ). It belongs to the canton of Vittel in the arrondissement of Épinal . It borders on Rozerotte in the north-west, Madecourt in the north, Valleroy-aux-Saules and Hagécourt in the north-east, Bainville-aux-Saules in the east and Valfroicourt in the south and south-west .
