The Three Islands Group National Park (English: Three Islands Group National Park ) is a national park in the northeast of the Australian state of Queensland . It is 1,581 kilometers north of Brisbane and 60 kilometers northeast of Cooktown .

The National Parks Endeavor River , Mount Webb , Starcke and Lizard Island are in the vicinity .

National nature

The three islands are part of the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Site . Dense, green rainforest covers them. Sandy beaches line the islands on the continental shelf, which are surrounded by coral reefs .

tourism

Camping in the national park is permitted, but there are no special facilities. Many sea and beach birds can be observed.
