The Sarabah National Park (English Sarabah National Park ) is a national park of only 1.42 hectares in Queensland , Australia .
location
It is located in the hinterland of the Gold Coast in the South East Queensland region about 65 kilometers south of Brisbane and 15 kilometers southeast of Beaudesert . The closest city is Canungra . From here the park can be reached via the Lamington National Park Road heading south. After about 5 kilometers you pass the national park. There are no visitor facilities there.
The national parks Tamborine , Nerang , Springbrook and Lamington are in the vicinity .

Sarabah National Park protects a small area of primary rainforest on the banks of Canungra Creek , a tributary of the Albert River . Various ferns , milkweed plants thrive here , including the Green Karmala ( Mallotus claoxyloides ) and Red Karmala ( Mallotus philippensis ), which are classified as worthy of protection , mulberry plants , for example the Sandpaper Fig ( Ficus coronata ) and ten different types of soap tree plants , including Guioa ( Guioa semiglauca ) .
