The Woowoonga National Park (English Woowoonga National Park ) is a 27 km² national park in Queensland , Australia .

It is in the Wide Bay-Burnett region , 250 km north of Brisbane and 65 km south of Bundaberg . The park can be reached via the Isis Highway between Biggende and Childers , by turning east 5 km north of Biggende into Giles Road , then following Mount Woowoonga Road until the path ends in the national park after about 3 km at a picnic area . From here a marked path leads to the 596 m high Mount Woowoonga . Camping is not allowed.
The Wongi , Coalstoun Lakes and Mount Walsh National Parks are in the vicinity .
Flora and fauna
Located along the chain of hills of the Woowoonga Range , the national park protects dry rainforest with tall New Guinea araucarias (English hoop pines ) and open eucalyptus forest . You can see schools of the Banks Black Cockatoo here .
