The Gympie National Park (English Gympie National Park ) is an 18 square kilometer national park in Queensland , Australia .

It is located in the Wide Bay-Burnett region in the hinterland of the Sunshine Coast about 150 kilometers north of Brisbane and 90 kilometers south of Hervey Bay . From Gympie you can go north on Sandy Creek Road and after eight kilometers pass two parts of the three-part national park. There are no visitor facilities in the national park.
The national parks Goomboorian , Woondum , Glastonbury and Amamoor are in the vicinity .

The national park protects coastal subtropical rainforest up to 300 meters high .
The park is home to numerous plant families, including milkweed plants , dog-poison plants , myrtle plants such as Swamp Mahogany ( Eucalyptus robusta ), soap-tree plants and rhombus plants .
