The Goneaway National Park (English: Goneaway National Park ) is a national park in the southwest of the Australian state of Queensland .

It is 1,158 km west of Brisbane and about 190 km southwest of Winton on the Mayne River .

The Diamantina , Lochern and Bladensburg national parks are in the vicinity .

Facilities and access

The poorly accessible park in the Channel Country is located in the sandstone plains south of the Mayne River. The dirt road connecting Winton on Landsborough Highway Jundah to Thomson Developmental Road passes just east of the park, but it is not possible to get there by car.

There are neither paths nor roads in the park, but you can watch birds there with binoculars.
