The Hampton National Park (English Hampton National Park ) is a national park of only 3.88 hectares in Queensland , Australia .
location
It is located in the Darling Downs region about 95 kilometers west of Brisbane and 150 miles south of Hervey Bay . The closest town is Toowoomba . From here you can reach the park via the New England Highway north. After 25 kilometers in downtown Hampton, follow Wilkes Road east and another 500 meters north on McMullen Road . 200 meters later you pass the small national park. There are no visitor facilities there.
Lockyer , Geham , Ravensbourne and Crows-Nest National Parks are in the vicinity .

The national park protects a small patch of primary forest made up of "Red Bloodwood" ( Corymbia gummifera ), "Rose She-Oak" ( Allocasuarina torulosa ), "Blackbutts" ( Eucalyptus pilularis ) and "Tallowwood" ( Eucalyptus microcorys ).
Narrow Leaved Orangebark ( Maytenus silvestris ) and Coffee Bush ( Breynia oblongifolia ) are found in the undergrowth .
