The Woondum National Park (English Woondum National Park ) is a 40 square kilometer national park in Queensland , Australia .

It is located in the Wide Bay-Burnett region on the Sunshine Coast about 130 kilometers north of Brisbane and 110 kilometers south of Hervey Bay . From the Bruce Highway about five kilometers branches south of Gympie to Noosa Road to the village Woondum from. From here, following the Hill Road , the national park is three kilometers away. There are several designated hiking trails and picnic areas in the park. Camping is not permitted.
The national parks Goomboorian , Conondale , Mount-Pinbarren , Tewantin and Tuchekoi are in the neighborhood .
Flora and fauna
The national park protects the subtropical rainforest around the 440 meter high Mount Boulder , through which Woondum Creek and Boulder Creek flow in a series of rock pools out of the valley.
Some endangered or near threatened animals live in the park, including the black owl ( Tyto tenebricosa ), the rust-browed tree slide ( Climacteris erythrops ), the white- browed goshawk ( Accipiter novaehollandiae ), the tusked frog ( Adelotus brevis ) and the Cascade Treefrog ( Litoria pearsoniana ).
