The Moresby Range National Park (English: Moresby Range National Park ) is a national park in the northeast of the Australian state of Queensland . It is located 1314 km northwest of Brisbane and about 5 km southeast of Innisfail .

Flora and fauna

The area on the small, flat Moresby Range is covered with tropical coastal rainforest.

There you can find a large number of different animals, e.g. B. also endangered species, such as the cassowary ,

The park is part of the Coastal Wet Tropics Important Bird Area . BirdLife International gave the park this classification because it is an important habitat for the birds of the tropical rainforest in the lowlands.

Driveway

The national park can be reached from Innisfail via a small cul-de-sac to the east or from Etty Bay .
