The Bingera National Park (English Bingera National Park ) is a 54 square kilometer national park in Queensland , Australia .
location
It is located in the Wide Bay-Burnett region on the Sunshine Coast about 280 km north of Brisbane and 260 km southeast of Rockhampton . From Bundaberg you pass the national park after about 22 kilometers, on the Isis Highway in a southerly direction. There are no visitor facilities.
The Burrum Coast and Cordalba National Parks are in the vicinity .
fauna
Here, coastal wetlands, relatively untouched by civilization, are protected.
The park is home to numerous frogs , birds , reptiles and mammals , including the endangered Little Pied Bat ( Chalinolobus picatus ), from the smooth-nosed bat family , and koalas .
Among the birds, the noisy head , brown honey eater ( Lichmera indistincta ) and gray-breasted thick head ( Colluricincla harmonica ) can be observed.
