The Ban Ban National Park (English Ban Ban National Park ) is a 20 km² national park in Queensland , Australia .

location

Located in the Wide Bay-Burnett region, the park is 22 miles south of Biggende and 25 miles east of Gayndah .

history

The name Ban Ban was first used by H. Herbert, a settler who settled near Ban Ban Springs in 1846 . It means something like grass in the local Aboriginal language .
