The Conondale National Park is a national park in the Australian state of Queensland .
In 2009, the national park was expanded by more than 300 square kilometers, which has increased the area of the previous 68 square kilometers by more than five times.

It is located about 130 kilometers north of Brisbane in the Conondale Range .
The national parks Bellthorpe , Maleny , Kondalilla and Mapleton Falls are in the neighborhood .
Flora and fauna
The rugged mountainous country is mostly covered by rain and eucalyptus forests. Numerous waterfalls, stony streams and gorges shape the landscape. The park is home to a total of 120 different species of birds and numerous different mammals such as the large flying squirrel bucket ( Petaurus australis ). The rare species in the reserve include Litoria pearsoniana , a species of the Australian tree frog , and the fox shawl ( Erythrotriorchis radiatus ).
