The Wondul Range National Park (English Wondul Range National Park ) is a 35.6 square kilometer national park in Queensland , Australia .

It is located in the Darling Downs region about 210 kilometers west of Brisbane and 110 kilometers southwest of Toowoomba . The closest town is Millmerran . From here you can reach the park via the Gore Highway in a southwest direction. At the level of the small settlement Cypress Gardens, several forest roads branch off to the southeast. After another 5 kilometers you will reach the park boundary. In the national park itself there are only a few unpaved forest roads, but no visitor facilities.
The Bendidee and Southwood National Parks are in the vicinity .
Flora and fauna
In the Inglewood Sandstones bioregion, the Wondul Range National Park protects a species-rich plant community in open woodland that is not preserved in any other protected area. "Narrow-leaved Ironbarks" ( Eucalyptus crebra ), "Smooth-bark Apples" ( Angophora leiocarpa ), often together with "Bulloaks" ( Allocasuarina luehmannii ) and the "White Cypress Pine" ( Callitris glaucophylla ) grow on the slopes . On the other hand, "Brown Bloodwoods" ( Corymbia trachyphloia ) and "Stringybark She-Oaks" ( Allocasuarina inophloia ) thrive on the up to 450 meter high sandstone hills .
Over 187 species of vertebrate animals have been spotted in the park, including the endangered Brigalow scaly-foot ( Paradelma orientalis ), the greater long-eared bat ( Nyctophilus timoriensis ), the brown-headed cockatoo ( Calyptorhynchus lathami ) and ( Chalinolobus picatus) ) from the smooth-nosed bat family .
