Africa Cup of Nations 2019 / squad
This article provides an overview of the squads of the teams participating in the 2019 Africa Cup . The teams are arranged according to the preliminary round groups and sorted alphabetically within the groups. Each national association can nominate a maximum of 23 players until June 11, 2019.

National coach Aguirre called 25 players into the hosts' provisional squad on May 21. From this he deleted two Smouha SC players for his final 23-man squad : goalkeeper Mohamed Abou-Gabal and left-back Ahmed Aboul-Fotouh .

DR Congo
The Congolese national coach Ibengé nominated 32 players in his provisional squad on May 21. Dieumerci Mbokani , Neeskens Kebano and Gaël Kakuta were not considered .
Zimbabwe
A 34-man provisional tournament roster was released on May 14th. Missed the leap into the final squad published on June 9: goalkeeper Talbert Sumba , defenders Dennis Dauda , Lawrence Mhlanga , Byron Madzokere , midfielders Butholezwe Ncube , Tafadzwa Rusike , Richard Hachiro , Leeroy Mavunga , Rodwell Chinyengetere and the two attackers Walter Musona and Admiral Muskwe . Tafadzwa Kutinyu injured his knee shortly before the start of the tournament and was then replaced by Lawrence Mhlanga in the squad.

Uganda
Coach Desabre announced on May 8th a 19-player provisional squad of local players to prepare for the tournament at Kabira Country Club in Kampala . As a result, the line-up is to be expanded to include players working abroad to 26 players, and the team will then continue preparing for the tournament in the United Arab Emirates .

Mannetti called 28 players into his provisional squad for a training camp from June 3 in Dubai . Virgil Vries , Chris Katjiukua , Teberius Lombard , Benjamen Nenkavu and Wesley Katjiteo missed the leap into the final tournament roster published on June 10th .

National coach Baxter nominated 28 players in his provisional squad on May 21, and with Nikola Tavares and Joel Untersee two other players were listed who did not have a South African passport at the time of nomination.
