Götz Alsmann completed his studies in musicology in 1984.
Gabriele Behler, former minister of education in North Rhine-Westphalia, studied German and history from 1969 to 1975.
Wolfgang Clement completed his law studies in Münster in 1965.
Paul Josef Cordes, Curia Cardinal in Rome, first studied human medicine in Münster in 1955.
