William J. Wynn

William Joseph Wynn (born June 12, 1860 in San Francisco , California , †  January 4, 1935 ) was an American politician . Between 1903 and 1905 he represented the state of California in the US House of Representatives .

Career

William Wynn attended public schools in his home country. He then completed an apprenticeship as a machinist. In the following years he practiced this profession in his hometown of San Francisco. At the same time he embarked on a political career as a member of the Democratic Party . In 1902 and 1903 he was a councilor in San Francisco.

In the 1902 congressional election , Wynn was elected to the United States House of Representatives in Washington, DC , in the fifth constituency of California , where he succeeded Eugene F. Loud on March 4, 1903 . Since he was not confirmed in 1904, he could only complete one legislative period in Congress until March 3, 1905 . After his time in the US House of Representatives, William Wynn worked in the insurance industry in his home country. He died in San Francisco on January 4, 1935.
