This is a list of people affiliated with Ludwig Maximilians University Munich (LMU). Many important politicians studied in Munich, so four Federal Presidents (Heuss, Heinemann, Carstens and Herzog), one Federal Chancellor (Adenauer) and other politicians (Strauss, Wörner, HJ Vogel, ...) are associated with the LMU.
