Richard Ottinger
Richard L. Ottinger (born January 27, 1929 in New York City ) is an American politician of the Democratic Party .
Life
Ottinger studied law at Cornell University and graduated from Harvard Law School in 1953. He then studied international law at Georgetown University . After graduating, he worked for the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1957 . Following his military service, he began working as a lawyer in New York City .
From 1965 to 1985 Ottinger belonged as a deputy for the state of New York to the United States House of Representatives on. He has been married twice and has four children.
