- Moncalieri / Italy : In a raid in February 2014, a Carabinieri task force against art theft seized the two valuable paintings Fruits sur une table ou nature au petit chien by Paul Gauguin from 1889 and La femme aux deux fauteuils by Pierre Bonnard - both Works of art were stolen from the Mark-Kennedy family in London in 1974 . The thieves left the pictures on a train between Paris and Turin ; later they ended up in the lost property office. At a lost and found auction in 1975, the pictures were bought by a Fiat worker in Turin. The find has only now been announced.
