Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards
The Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards is a British music award and has been presented annually by the British music magazine Metal Hammer since 2003 . The award should not be confused with the Metal Hammer Awards from the German magazine Metal Hammer or the Revolver Golden Gods Awards from the US magazine Revolver .
background
The award was created by an idea from journalists Chris Ingham, John O'Sullivan and Dave Bianchi. The award ceremony is carried out by Future Publishing. TeamRock took over the event between 2014 and 2016. In addition to the award ceremony in various categories, several bands appear. A total of 16 prizes are awarded each year.
