  • Riyadh / Saudi Arabia : As part of the modernization process, the Saudi royal family is granting a cinema license for the first time in 35 years. The first movie theater in the Saudi capital is due to open on April 18. The government center for international communication wants to issue licenses for several hundred cinemas by 2030, which was previously excluded for religious reasons.
  • Schleswig / Germany : The Schleswig-Holstein Higher Regional Court found that in the case of the former President of the Catalan autonomous government Carles Puigdemont, who was arrested on March 25 at Schuby , the criminal offense of high treason under German law is not fulfilled because it was in Puigdemont's actions lacked the characteristic of "violence".
