List of organs in Brandenburg

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The list of organs in Brandenburg gradually includes the preserved historical organs as well as nationally important new organs in Brandenburg .

For organs in individual counties and cities see below .

Organ list

There are around 1,500 organs in Brandenburg, of which around 1,330 are in churches and parish halls of the Evangelical Church in Berlin-Brandenburg-Silesian Upper Lusatia. More than 75 percent of them were built before 1945.

The main builders are given in the fourth column; Cooperation between several organ builders is indicated by a slash, later modifications by commas. In the sixth column, the Roman number indicates the number of manuals , a capital "P" indicates an independent pedal , and a lower-case "p" indicates a pedal that is only attached. The Arabic number indicates the number of sounding registers in today's organs. The last column provides information on the state of preservation and links with further information.
