List of members of the Reichstag under National Socialism (3rd electoral term)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

With § 1 of the law against the formation of new parties of July 14, 1933, the NSDAP was declared the only existing party in Germany. As a result, in the “elected” Reichstag on March 29, 1936, only the faction of the NSDAP existed. Members of the Reichstag who did not belong to the NSDAP were listed as guests of the NSDAP parliamentary group. According to the official election results, over 44 million votes were cast (voter turnout 99.0%), 98.8% of which were for the NSDAP lists. The Reichstag thus had 741 members.

The Reichstag met only three times.

Bureau

The presidium was elected en bloc by acclamation at the first meeting on January 30, 1937.
