  • France-Germany-Switzerland : Three-Country Run in Basel: Kleinbasler Rheinufer, Saint-Louis (F) , Weil am Rhein (D) , Kleinbasler Rheinufer, start and finish on the market square
  • Germany-Austria-Switzerland : marathon of the 3 countries at Lake Constance in the triangle : marathon that starts on the island of Lindau ( Germany ) and then leads mostly directly along Lake Constance through Austria and Switzerland . The half marathon route does not go as far as Switzerland, however. The finish line is in Bregenz (Vorarlberg). The run is always held on the first Sunday in October.
  • Germany-Poland : Görlitz European marathon: the marathon and 10 km run start in Görlitz and then run around 10 km in Zgorzelec, Poland. Start and finish are in Görlitz city center.
  • Germany-France : German-French half marathon of the LTF Marpingen in Saarbrücken : cross-border half marathon along the Saar between Germany and France. Start and finish in Saarbrücken opposite the Römerbrücke power plant with a turning point in Grossbliederstroff.
  • Denmark-Sweden : Broloppet: cross-border half marathon on the Öresund Bridge between Denmark and Sweden . 80,000 runners took part in the first edition in 2000, it took place for the last time in 2006 but was revived once for the 10th anniversary in 2010.
