The Apple Music Festival (formerly iTunes Festival ) was a year since 2007 in London held-find music festival . The festival was hosted and sponsored by Apple . Tickets were awarded to iTunes users and fans free of charge by lottery .

Concerts were also live on iTunes, since 2012 Apple TV and the app streamed and can even a limited time thereafter accessed online are.

The first venue in 2007 was the Institute of Contemporary Arts , where Amy Winehouse and Crowded House were on stage. The following year the festival took place with Paul Weller , James Blunt , Suzanne Vega , The Pretenders and others at KOKO in Camden Town . Since 2009 the concerts have been held on the stage of the Roundhouse . In 2013, Lady Gaga and Kings of Leon appeared at the festival.

In 2015 the festival was renamed from iTunes Festival to Apple Music Festival. The reason for this was the start of Apple's music streaming service Apple Music . In 2017, Apple announced that there would be no more festivals.

On February 19, 2014, Apple announced that the iTunes Festival would take place for the first time in the US during South by Southwest with a five-day festival.

In 2014 a second festival will take place for the first time within a year. At the 2nd iTunes Festival 2014, the artists Maroon 5, Pharrell Williams, Beck, Sam Smith, Blondie, Kylie, David Guetta, 5 Seconds of Summer, Calvin Harris, Chrissie Hynde and others will perform.
