Paul Bennett , MBE (born December 16, 1988 in Leeds ) is a British rower and Olympic champion.

Bennett first competed in the Rowing World Cup in 2013 and finished seventh in the two without a helmsman in Eton . Before the 2014 World Cup final, Bennett moved to the British eighth , and at the 2014 World Championships in Amsterdam , the British eighth won ahead of the German boat. In 2015, the Germany eight came in front of the British boat at the European Championships , while the British eight won the World Championships on Lac d'Aiguebelette ahead of the German boat. At the start of the 2016 season, Bennett finished third at the European Championships with the British eighth behind the Germans and Russiansin Brandenburg an der Havel. In the final of the 2016 Olympic Games , as in the three world championships since 2013, the British managed to win ahead of Germany eighth.

Paul Bennett, 8 feet tall, is rowing for the University of London Boat Club .
