Corre is a French commune in the department of Haute-Saône in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the arrondissement of Vesoul and the canton of Jussey .
geography
The municipality of Corre is located in the north-western corner of the department, just on the border between the Franche-Comté region and the neighboring region of Grand Est . The village is located at the confluence of the Côney River into the Saône . This is also where the Canal des Vosges ( German: Vosges Canal ) begins , which, in conjunction with the canalized Saône and the Rhone, creates a navigable connection between the Moselle and the Mediterranean . The districts of Le Faubourg and Minelle belong to Corre . Neighboring municipalities of Corre are Vougécourt in the north, Demangevelle in the east, Ormoy and Ranzevelle in the south, Aisey-et-Richecourt in the southwest, Bourbévelle in the west and Montcourt in the northwest.
