This is a listing of Olympic medalists from South Korea . South Korea first competed in the Olympic Games in 1948 and has been there every year since, except in 1980 when it boycotted the Games. In addition to 1952, South Korean athletes have also participated in all winter games since 1948 .

South Korea has won 267 medals at the Summer Games so far (90 × gold, 87 × silver and 90 × bronze), the most gold medals in archery .

At the Winter Games, South Korea won 70 medals (31 gold, 25 silver and 14 bronze), most of the medals were won in the short track .

With a total of 337 medals (121 × gold, 112 × silver and 104 × bronze), South Korea ranks 16th in the overall medal table.
