List of the largest arch bridges
The following list of the largest arch bridges contains bridges that contain one or more arches as structural components. No distinction is made between the type of load-bearing function. The list is after the span in order. As far as is known, the total length of the bridge structure is also given. In the column of material , the material of the arch is indicated. The deck can be made of a different material, e.g. B. exist prestressed concrete . Under concrete is regularly reinforced concrete to understand. CFST ( Concrete Filled Steel Tubes ) refers to CFST bridges , a construction method often used in China, in which the bridge arch is made from steel tubes that are then filled with concrete for greater strength. With the sorting function in the Material column , the bridges can be grouped according to their construction. In the column rail / road a distinction is made between railway bridges and road bridges (including motorway bridges).
The countries are abbreviated with their license plate number .
