- London / United Kingdom : The Upper House of Parliament insists that the roughly three million citizens of European Union (EU) member states living in the country keep their current rights. In the EU membership referendum, the citizens voted decisively in favor of leaving the EU , because immigration from EU countries to the United Kingdom was a disadvantage of their own country's EU membership ( “Take back control of our borders” , German “Gains control beyond our borders ” ) was identified.

In these cases, medical professionals must provide the relevant drug after examination by the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices based on general personal rights .
- Palmyra / Syria : According to the Russian Defense Minister Sergei Schoigu and the SOHR , the Syrian armed forces have again completely recaptured the world heritage city held by the terrorist organization Islamic State (IS).
- Stockholm / Sweden : Sweden's Defense Minister Peter Hultqvist announces the reintroduction of conscription, which has been suspended since 2010 , on the radio . The compulsory pattern applies from July 1st for everyone born in 1999 and some of those born in 2000 and thus affects around 100,000 citizens. - New York / United States : The heirs of the former Jewish owner family Lewenstein are demanding back the Kandinsky painting “ The Colorful Life ” from the Lenbachhaus Museum in Munich . - Paris / France : The French motor vehicle manufacturer Groupe PSA announces that it has reached an agreement with the US automobile group General Motors to take over its European division. According to the French business newspaper Les Échos , the brands Opel and Vauxhall are switching to the second largest European car manufacturer for at least 1.6 billion euros . PSA itself specifies 2.2 billion euros for the purchase.

- Gozo / Malta : The famous stone gate Azure Window , one of the main attractions of the island, collapses under strong winds.
- Kabul / Afghanistan : Four armed fighters in doctor's coats and a suicide bomber attack the Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan military hospital in the Wasir Akbar Khan district in the heavily secured city center. The assassin blows himself up at the security gate and the gunmen kill at least 49 people in the building. The terrorist organization Islamic State is committed to the act.
- Karlsruhe / Germany : The Federal Constitutional Court ruled that foreign government politicians in official positions do not have the right to speak in Germany, but the Federal Government can grant them this right . The US Department of Defense also announced the dispatch of an additional 400 US Marines to Syria.
- Berlin / Germany : The federal government and the energy companies EnBW , E.ON , RWE and Vattenfall agree in principle to pay 23.55 billion euros from the companies to the federal government , which in return takes over the disposal of radioactive waste from nuclear reactors . This also includes final disposal .

- Al-Hudaida / Yemen : At least 26 people die in a marketplace in Saudi air strikes against Shiite Houthi rebels . The human rights organization Amnesty International (AI) has also criticized the military coalition led by Saudi Arabia for using outlawed cluster munitions that were produced in Brazil.
- Antalaha / Madagascar : The Malagasy National Office for Risks and Disasters announces the destruction caused by cyclone Enawo , which reached Madagascar on March 7th.
