Legend

Scientists : This column records the name form common in German, the dates of life and the Greek name form (also for non-Greeks, provided the Greek name form is common).

Nationality : This column records the nationality, as far as can be determined in view of data protection and personal rights. In the case of Greeks abroad in particular , dual citizenship can also be given without the public being aware of this.

Place of activity : For academics, this column usually only records the universities at which they have taught with the rank of professor, possibly based on the current status in descending biographical order. However, lecturers with their academic affiliation and those outside of academic operations are also included with details of the city in which they are or were active.

Further qualifications : This column records further academic qualifications of the listed Neo-Graecists, both undergraduate training and academic achievements in other disciplines. In many cases, often in the case of Byzantinists, this column indicates the main qualification, while Neo-Greek Studies is only a secondary activity for these researchers. Nevertheless, no evaluations were made here. Detailed information can be found in the personal articles.

Main research areas : This column summarizes the key areas of work and research achievements of the researchers listed.

Image : This column shows images of the neo-Greekists mentioned.
