Aerosmith First album of original material since 2001's Just Push Play. A new album was to be released in 2006, but guitarist Joe Perry announced that it would not be recorded and released until this year as they are currently touring with Mötley Crüe. [1]
Against Me! Signed on to Sire Records to record major label album for sometime in 2007.
Alice in Chains First studio release since their 1995 self-titled album. Drummer Sean Kinney has said in an interview that he would be interested in writing new material, but it is unclear if their new singer William DuVall, the replacement of the late Layne Staley, will record it.
Anthrax First album with the Among the Living line-up since 1990's Persistence of Time.
Arena Didn't release a studio album since 2005
Armored Saint First studio release since 2000's Revelation. There are some fans expecting a new Armored Saint album, but singer John Bush has not revealed any plans for it.

Atreyu Late They are set to go into the recording studio for their fourth studio album on Hollywood Records, Victory Records is releasing a best of album.
Avenged Sevenfold Late The band revealed plans to record a new album early this year. [2]
Bon Jovi April On a television show in early December 2006, Jon Bon Jovi confirmed that they would be finished the new album by Christmas 2006. The album is rumoured to be more country/rock then previous albums.
Chris Brown May Has confirmed the idea of putting the album out around his birthday.
Cher Unknown Her new studio album is due for release sometime in 2007 and is supposed to be going back to her 80's rock days
Chevelle February Chevelle is currently in the writing process, and will record/master their album to wrap up 2006.
Chrishan 2nd Quarter of 2007 Label confirmed his debut album. Single release date is unknown, speculated May 2007.
Circa Survive The band announced they are recording a new album on their myspace page. The band stated they would keep their fans posted via their website, Myspace page, Purevolume page, and Youtube page. Guitarist Colin Frangicetto said the band was in the process of editing footage for a possible DVD Release.
Circle Jerks The band reunited for a couple years and they are supposedly gearing up for their first studio album since 1995's Oddities, Abnormalities and Curiosities, but no further details have been confirmed. Their guitarist Greg Hetson has been busy with his band Bad Religion and this causes the Circle Jerks to hold off on a new album.
The Click Five Album announced on their Myspace speculated for 2007.
