The Eurovan was a joint project of people carriers between Fiat and PSA Peugeot Citroën , which was produced in two series at SEVEL in France from mid-1994 to summer 2014. The car was sold in different versions and had the model names Citroën Evasion or C8 , Fiat Ulysse , Peugeot 806 or 807 and Lancia Zeta or Phedra .

The Eurovan with up to eight seats was introduced in June 1994 under the names Citroën Evasion , Fiat Ulysse , Peugeot 806 and Lancia Zeta . The Eurovans were similar in dimensions to the Espace of their main competitor Renault , although they had a longer wheelbase . However, these vans were smaller than American vans like the Chrysler Voyager , which was represented as a popular model in Europe. In contrast to the Espace and other European vans, the Eurovans had sliding doors for the rear. The seat configurations consisted of two individual seats in the front and three individual removable seats in the middle row, together with either two individually removable seats or a bench in the third row.
A facelift was carried out in October 1998. Only the Lancia Zeta was built unchanged until the end of production in mid-2002.

The second generation of the Eurovan went into production in June 2002. One of the important changes was the extension of the model by 27 centimeters compared to the first version. It received the highest rating of 5 stars in the Euro NCAP - Crash Test .
The Fiat Ulysse was the only one of the four vans to keep its model name.
The Eurovan was technically revised in June 2006 and now also complies with the Euro 4 emissions standard .
In February 2008, all four models were given a visual makeover. The Peugeot 807 and the Citroën C8 received enlarged logos and chrome strips on the radiator grille, bumpers and side protection strips; the Fiat Ulysse just a new logo.
The Lancia Phedra had a new radiator grille with a smaller number of chrome bars, which were now more prominent, as well as a new logo and chrome inserts on the front bumper. In addition, the door handles were now chrome-plated. What all four models had in common was the slightly redesigned interior, which could be combined with new upholstery and decorative elements. In parallel to the increased use of chrome on the exterior, there are now new chrome parts in the interior.
On the technical side, a 2.2-liter twin-turbo diesel engine with an output of 170 hp was introduced. This engine was withdrawn from the range in autumn 2010 and replaced by a 2.0 liter diesel engine with an output of 163 hp.
As early as autumn 2009, the Fiat Ulysse was only offered with the 2.0-16V diesel engine (100 kW / 136 hp).
Production of the Lancia Phedra ceased in November 2010. Its successor is the Lancia Voyager , which is largely identical to the Chrysler Grand Voyager and replaces it in Europe.
At the same time as the end of the Phedra, the import of the Fiat Ulysse to Germany was also discontinued. Sevel completed the complete cessation of production of the Ulysse in July 2011. The successor was the Fiat Freemont .
In the summer of 2012, the Citroën C8 received a subtle facelift. Characteristic features are the new rounded brand logo as well as the new headlights with dark inlays.
In November 2013, Peugeot canceled the variant with automatic transmission, only sold the 807 in a single equipment line and only offered the van as a five- and seven-seater, but no longer with 2 + 3 + 3 seating.
At the end of June 2014, the production of the Peugeot 807 ended without replacement, that of the Citroën C8 ended a month later.
