2020
- Einstürzende Neubauten - Am Landwehrkanal • Grazer Damm (1) • Wedding • Tempelhof (2)
- Bruno Ferrara - Vado a Berlino (I'm going to Berlin)
- King & Potter - Berlin
- MiA. - Mauerpark
- Pet Shop Boys (3) - Will-o-the-wisp • You are the one • Wedding in Berlin (4)
(1) The theme is the settlement on Grazer Damm in Berlin-Schöneberg . Singer Blixa Bargeld grew up there.
(2) The topic is not the district of the same name , but the former airport , especially the reception building.
(3) The album Hotspot was recorded in Berlin, the Pet Shop Boys have lived temporarily in Berlin for years. The video for the song Dreamland, which is not listed here ( sung together with Olly Alexander ) clearly uses the atmosphere of the Berlin subway as a basis.
(4) The title is a play on words : on the one hand it refers to a “wedding in Berlin”, on the other hand there is the district Wedding in Berlin . The text is about a wedding with no specific reference to Berlin, but according to the artist, the song was written as a gift for the wedding of an artist friend in Kreuzberg and should sound like a party in Berghain .
(instr) Instrumental ; the connection to Berlin is made through the title and usually the musicians themselves. The titles convey the current musical zeitgeist.
